Quant Report for 2010-04-12
Updated 5:50am EST - Global financial markets had a volatile opening to start the week on the heels of news over the weekend that Greece will be bailed out by the European Union. After a strong open, European equity markets have retreated. US equity futures gapped up and have slowly descended. US treasuries are lower on the session. Silver leads metals higher. Crude is higher, trading above the $85/barrel handle. Soy is considerably stronger. In the currency markets, the US dollar is stronger after a significant gap down to open the week. The Australian dollar is clearly the weakest against the majors.
