Quant Report for 2010-04-01

Updated 5:40am EST - Asian equity markets posted strong gains with the NIKKEI closing up by +1.39%. European equity markets, along with US equity futures are higher on the session. US treasuries are down today after consecutive daily gains. Commodities are higher across the board. Metals are higher led by silver's strong breakout on the daily charts. Crude is up again, breaking through resistance levels as it approaches 2010 highs. In the currency markets, the British pound and Canadian dollar are strongest against the majors. Unemployment claims will be released out of the US at 8:30am EST.
