Commodities are generally lower on a stronger US dollar midway through the London session. Silver continues to lead metals lower. Crude is declining again, trading just above the $76/barrel level. In the currency markets, the US dollar is stronger, at highest level since early 9/2009. The Japanese yen is slightly higher as well, while the weakest remains the British pound. The Bank of England and European Central Bank are expected to leave interest rates unchanged as they announce at 7am and 7:45am EST respectively.
