Updated 5:45am EST - European equities are all in positive territory. US equity futures are higher ahead of the US open. Commodities are generally higher on a weaker US dollar. Gold and silver continue to strengthen. Crude is up on the session, just below the $81/barrel level. In the currency markets, the US dollar is lower while the Australian dollar is clearly the strongest against the majors.
