Quant Report for 2010-07-12

Updated 6am EST - Global equity markets are relatively mixed with a negative tone. Commodities are generally weaker on a stronger US dollar. Gold is leading metals lower. Crude is coming down after a last week’s steady gains, now trading below $76/barrel. In the currency markets, the US dollar is stronger while the Euro and British pound are weaker against the majors. Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke is scheduled to speak at 10am EST.
